Welcome, New Member!
It is my privilege to welcome you as a member of the world’s largest women’s patriotic organization and to American Legion Auxiliary Unit #418, in Troup, Texas. By becoming an Auxiliary member, you have joined nearly one million women in the United States and around the world who make a difference in the lives of veterans, their families and children.
The Auxiliary is much more than the name implies. The organization has achieved its own unique identity while working side-by-side with the veterans who belong to The American Legion. Like the Legion, the Auxiliary’s interests have broadened to encompass the entire community. Through its units located throughout Texas, the Auxiliary embodies the spirit of America that has prevailed through war and peace.
Membership is $20.00 for 18 years and over and $3.50 for Junior birth to 17 years old a year, and all membership dues are due before December 31 st, so we can be accredited with 100%, and then after that our percentage goes up for every new member we sign up.
Unit #418 has a lot to offer with many opportunities to volunteer. We pride ourselves on our programs to educate children, organize community events and help our veterans and their families.
